Safety Planning
How safe are you feeling at the moment?
Whether you are still with your partner or you have separated, it is really important to think about your safety and well-being, as well as your children’s too.
Here are some practical things you can do to help keep you and your children safe…
Recognise Controlling Behaviour
Controlling Behaviour is a range of acts designed to make a person dependent by isolating them from sources of support, exploiting their resources and capacities for personal gain, depriving them of the means needed for independence, resistance and escape and regulating their everyday behaviour.
Is my relationship unhealthy?
Look through this checklist to find out whether your relationship is unhealthy and could be dangerous.
What is refuge?
Our refuge accommodation provides a safe and secure place for women and their children to stay when they leave their home after experiencing domestic abuse. The temporary accommodation consists of fully furnished self-contained flats so women and children need only bring their clothes and any personal belongings.
Staying Safe Online
Many women worry about someone catching them looking for help online, or looking at the history of the websites that they have browsed. The difficulty is that different web browsers offer different solutions to these issues and how you can keep your browsing private will vary depending on how you are accessing the internet.
